Cine Archivo - FAQ's
• The six million feet of film that are stored in Cine Archivo Bolívar Films are in 35 mm film format. A high percentage of this material has been transferred to Betacam SP video format.
• In Cine Archivo Bolívar Films we can search for the specific images our clients request for their audiovisual productions.
• In Cine Archivo Bolívar Films more than 20,000 rollfilms are stored in specific temperature and humidity conditions, for its preservation through time.
• The material recorded in movie format can be transferred to video through a process called Telecine.
• When the client requests a film take from our library, a duplicate (called dup) of the take is done; this way the client does not need to take the original negative of the archive.
